16 Weeks Later and Here We Are...

Hard to believe that after months of planning that started in 2018 to re-enter the League Hosting Business, something that used to be a staple of vApex Racing Group's existence, we have reached Week 16, the Final Week of the vApex IndyCar Series. We have been very lucky to have 30 drivers join us to make a very competitive, strong racing league. We had a few hiccups along the way, but our goal was to provide a league that allowed gentleman drivers a chance to drive the IndyCar the way it was meant to be raced. The members of this league have allowed that to happen. And we thank you for that.

I wanted to give a special shout out to all The Majors drivers who helped make this series a success. The support from Mike Ouellette and Wayne Hutchison meant more than I can tell you. For the most part, the type of drivers that run the Majors are the folks we want to run with at all times. And I think we saw that this year. Special thanks to Ernie Ludwig, Jonathan Diggs, and Rob Powers who, along with Wayne, showed up for almost all of the races. I truly appreciate your commitment and support of this League. Also, thanks to my teammates Brian Barney and Jeff Yeager for their guidance this season.

I am looking forward to tomorrow's finale as Mikey Grems will officially be crowned Champion of the League at Laguna Seca. We will then take a break for the Summer and hopefully, if the demand is there once again, we will have a Winter Session starting in September or October that will hit some of the tracks that IndyCar has not been to in a while and maybe some new venues to add some additional excitement to the League. Please be on the lookout for a questionnaire regarding the League and its future path.
