Last night, the vApex contingent running in the multi-car skills test that is Nim's Sportscar League made a great showing in several different classes of car. The race took place at the venerable Suzuka Grand Prix Course.

In the GT classes, Jeff Parsons got a win in the Porsche 911 class while securing 23rd overall points. Taylor Bookout also got a win in the Ferrari 488 GT3 class while finishing 19th overall.

Probational Driver Clifton Naranjo and yours truly came in 2nd and 3rd overall following John Paquin to the finish line in the HPD-ARX, while Rick McClure ran a strong 6th overall and 2nd in class in the Corvette DP after a race long battle with Kevin Binkley. Sean Fleming got a 15th overall and a 4th in class in the Corvette DP.

This league has really turned out to be a pleasant surprise with the variations in cars and the multi-class racing. I thought the multi-class behavior last night was the best it has been all season as I think people have been driving all the cars now and understand what those in the Fast and "Slow" cars have to deal with. It's just darn good racing.

Next week we are off to Watkins Glen!!
