Hello There,

I'm sure it seems like I've disappeared when it comes to our Blog posts. We sure have a lot of things going on in the Team and unfortunately, running the Team and trying to make things go smoothly come first. I've missed a few big events that I will try and catch up on in the upcoming weeks. Another thing that has dominated my time is an actual, dipping of the toe, if you will, into a livery production. Chuck Chambliss has come up with some amazing logos for the team that can now be found in our Google Drive's Paint Directory. Chuck has a vision for the IndyCar with an all chrome body with our selected trim colors on certain do-dads of the car. In the interim, I took a swing at getting a livery together we could all run in our IndyCar Open Lites League that many of us participate in. It was taken straight from the iRacing Template (#8 color scheme I believe) which closely mimics Penske Racing's basic liveries. Our original livery for the old IndyCar IR-05 was based on Penske's livery that Ted put together. Ted and I are both Penske fans, so you guys have to live with that....or stage a coup to take over. (I'll tell you all the secrets to make your coup easier...trust me!!)

Anyway, it seems like the livery has been a hit with everyone and it keeps our basic Red and Black colors at the forefront of the car. We want to be more recognizable with all of the cars we are running so slowly but surely, we will be coming up with Team wide liveries that when people either racing with us or watching on the internet see our cars, they'll know right away...that's a vApex Car.
